Description
Paddar is an enchanting valley in the Kishtwar district of the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It falls in the Jammu division.The valley covers the entire southeastern portion of the Kishtwar district. It borders Zanskar (Ladakh) in the north and east, Pangi(Himachal Pradesh) in the south and the rest of Jammu and Kashmir in the west. The valley is known for its sapphire mines. Albeit Sapphires are located in the valley of Padder in Jammu division , they are known as kashmiri sapphires which is a misnomer.It lies along the Chandrabhaga river (Chenab) in the Great Himalayas. Paddar is among one of the most remote regions of Jammu and Kashmir. There are various small valleys within Paddar, such as Machail, Gandhari, Kabban, Ongai, Bhuzunu, Barnaj, Bhuzas, Kijai Nallah, and Dharlang, among others.

There are no activities planned until an evening welcome meeting. Additional Notes: We highly recommend booking pre-tour accommodation at Machail to fully experience Machail valley.
Pack up the essentials in the morning.Trek out and experience the enchanting scenic view along the way towards Barnaz valley.It’s a moderate 4-5 hours trek.After reaching Barnaz valley, Pay obeisance to local deity and also the Gaurd of Mata Machail namely lord Nakkata.Enjoy the three high altitude lakes of the valley meanwhile a campsite will be developed along with food and bonfire.Stargazing during night is the best experience one can get.
Enjoy the morning tea with a view of the Sapphire Mountain and other Himalayan peaks,mountains and ranges.The three High Altitude lakes beside you will enhance the peace and tranquility — Take a walk-in the valley and after Lunch trek back to Machail.

Your tour will conclude in Machail Paddar on Day 3 of the trip. We highly recommend starting post-Machail Mata Darshan at the Temple to give yourself time to fully experience the wonders of this iconic Place!
Day 2 of this tour is an Treking Day which gives you a chance to Trek and Explore the scenic beauty sorrunding Machail along with way towards Barnaz valley .
Helicopter transfers are not included in the price of this tour, however you can book for an arrival transfer in advance. In this case Tour company representative will be at the Helipad to greet you. To arrange this please contact our customer service team once you have a confirmed booking.
This tour has an age range of 12-70 years old, this means children under the age of 12 will not be eligible to participate in this tour. However, if you are over 70 years please contact us as you may be eligible to join the tour if you fill out Haas Adventures self-assessment form.
